Eric advises individuals and families on domestic and international estate and tax planning matters, helping clients achieve their unique and specific goals through the development and implementation of personally-tailored plans and strategies. Clients have also relied on Eric’s estate and trust administration skills after the passing of a loved one. Eric has experience advising individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses with matters such as: domestic and international income, gift, and estate tax planning and compliance; residence and nonresident estate administration; domestic and foreign trust administration; foreign and offshore disclosure and reporting. Eric also has experience advising tax-exempt organizations, such as charitable trusts, operating and non-operating private foundations and charities, with matters such as entity formation, registration, governance, and tax compliance.

Prior to joining MNF Legal, Eric was an Associate in the Chicago office of a national firm where his practice focused on estate planning, and trust and estate administration. Eric is also a regular volunteer with Chinatown Pro Bono Legal Clinic, where he enjoys giving back to the community he grew up a part of.

While in law school, Eric was a legal extern at the Internal Revenue Service’s Office of Chief Counsel in Chicago, and a legal intern at the National Football League’s office in New York.

Eric speaks Cantonese and Japanese.
